Along the creek and through the snow!

This photo was taken at a local park also.

The white balance and the colours are all perfect and as a bonus none of the highlight detail has been lost.

To me, there is just something magical about snow resting upon the limbs and branches of large trees. Your inclusion of this element on both sides of the creek takes me to a wonderful place of beauty and peace. Your perspective is perfect, Julie. And the snow tone is as it should be - I have had issues with that in the past in my own shots, forgetting to adjust the settings for snow! - Yours is just perfect! Another note on your persective (pov): I really like how you have composed this view so that we see the slight curvature of the creek and the hillside rising up there at the bend, near the top end of the frame. Altogether, this is a wonderful and peaceful scene..one that is inviting and pure. Just magnificent, Julie!!

@Denny Jump Photo: Thanks so much Denny! That is what I try to do with my photography.... show people what I see and how I see it, not always easy to do but I think this shot really says it all! Nature is a beautiful thing! I guess I got lucky with this shot!

Gorgeous winter scene Julie!! Now get ready for ice...sigh......I like taking ice photos...just hope its not too much that it causes major damage.

@Mary: Thanks so much Mary! Yep, it is after 11pm and it has started already! I love ice photos too, just haven't gotten many at all this year at all. Keep fingers crossed!
